Candidates should ideally have a background in, experience in or sound knowledge of some of the following:
1. Project, programme, or portfolio management
2. Knowledge of PMI and\or PMINZ
3. Strategic planning
4. Senior management
5. Board or governance
6. Financial management
7. Volunteering or leadership
See either the Candidate Questionnaire and Acceptance Form or the Elections and Nominating Committee Policy for some examples of skills and experience related to the seven criteria.
Chapter members are reminded that in accordance with PMINZ rules:
• Only the Election and Nominating Committee may distribute election materials for PMINZ elected positions.
• No funds or resources of PMI Global or PMINZ may be used to support or negatively impact the election of any candidate.
• No campaign materials of any kind may be used to promote a candidate, including social media posts.
• No other type of organized electioneering, canvassing, communications, fund-raising or other activities by or on behalf of a candidate is permitted.
• Any potential breach of these rules can be investigated by the Elections and Nominating Committee as an election anomaly.
1. Download the Nominations Information Pack [insert hyperlink to zip file, see list at end of this document]
2. Send the following items to the Elections and Nominating Committee at elections@pmi.nz by 5:00pm, Friday 27 June 2023:
 a. One 2023 Candidate Nomination Form, completed, signed, and dated by a nominator.
 b. A completed 2023 Candidate Nomination Acceptance & Eligibility Form. Candidates must answer all questions.
 c. A completed 2023 Candidate Profile and Election Statement (a maximum of 250 words per section).
 d. A recent colour head and shoulders digital photograph of the candidate (as a jpeg file).
 e. A copy of the candidate’s current CV (in either MS Word or PDF format)

The Nominating Committee has been appointed by the PMINZ Board in accordance with the PMINZ Constitution. The Terms of Reference under which the Committee operates can be found in the Elections and Nominating Committee Policy, Section 4.0.
