2025 Project Management Conference Team

Project Management Institute of New Zealand (PMINZ)

We’re now accepting expressions of interests for the following volunteer roles for the 2025 Project Management Conference. NOTE: there will be opportunities to be part of the awards team and speakers’ team as reviewers of submissions.

Programme Lead: Responsible for designing and scheduling the overall programme for the event, including defining and scheduling the various programme streams.

Project Coordinator: Responsible for administration aspects such as action follow-up and management, document management, minute-taking, scheduling of meetings. Acts as the right-hand to the Project Manager.

Volunteer Coordinator: Responsible for recruiting volunters to support Conference operations during the event, including assigning roles & responsibilies, pre-event briefings, and coordination during the event. Main point of contact for volunteers.

Masterclasses Lead: Responsible for designing and scheduling the masterclasses for the event, including calling for EOI and submissions, vetting, to selection. Main point of contact for facilitators, including during the event. Collaborate with Brightstar on contracts and travel/accommodation arrangements.

Site Visit Lead: Responsible for designing and scheduling the site visits for the event, vetting, to selection. Main point of contact for site contacts, including during the event. Collaborate with Brightstar on arrangements.

NOTE: There will be opportunities to be part of the awards team and speakers’ team as reviewers of submissions. This will be announced at a later date.

The tenure for these roles is expected to be from August 2024 to June 2025. Volunteers can expect to commit approximately 3-4 hours per week and have the opportunity to earn PDUs for their time.
