About your Presenter:

Sean Whitaker has been working as a project manager for nearly 30 years and in that time he has managed and successfully delivered complex projects in construction, IT/IS, software, telecommunications, urban development, and organisational restructuring. He’s leveraged this diverse experience to provide consulting advice to organisations around the globe, and worked with them to improve their portfolio, program, and project management capability, and individual practitioner competency.

Sean has been developing and delivering project management training and education since 2005, and have taught thousands of people how to be better project managers. He’s taught all levels of project management from introductory level, to PMP credential exam preparation, to postgraduate courses. He’s also authored several books about project management. Sean has been recognised as a top influencer in the profession of project management, and also been awarded the status of Fellow of PMI New Zealand for my significant and sustained contribution to the profession.

Sean knows what good looks like in project management. He’s seen good, he’s seen great, and he’s also seen the opposite. He’s built a reputation for a practical, jargon free, and sensible approach to project delivery, consulting, and teaching.
