Christchurch Ignite Change – Empowering Local Non-Profit Organisations (NPO)

A day of collaboration & learning.

The PMINZ Christchurch branch is organizing a Project Management Celebration Day on 25 November this year. This celebration is designed to unite volunteers from diverse industries, harnessing their collective expertise and knowledge to aid non-profit organizations in addressing project management challenges.

At the heart of a strong community lies a thriving non-profit sector. These organisations often face daunting challenges, such as limited resources, high demand, and insufficient funding. Consequently, many struggle to achieve their desired outcomes and lack the professional guidance, capacity, or capabilities to step back and consider the most effective and efficient approach to do so.

On this exceptional day, non-profits and Project Management Professionals join forces to delve into critical problems and explore potential opportunities, crafting comprehensive plans to harness their potential. It is a transformative one-day community event designed to bridge this gap. Project Managers, Business Analysts, other Business Professionals and students will come together to provide pro-bono advisory services to local Charities and non-profit organisations.

At the Ignite Change event, non-profits receive invaluable pro bono advisory services from Project Managers and other dedicated business professionals. By collaborating closely with non-profits, consulting teams help scope projects, define clear outcomes and a plan to support non-profits achieve their goals, helping non-profits gain the momentum needed to tackle their initiatives head-on.
