Cameron Road – Delivering a large infrastructure project in a compressed timeframe

Construction is taking place in different stages along Cameron Rd to build new peak travel-time bus lanes, a two-way cycleway, along with improvements to make the area safer, more walkable, attractive and community-friendly. Find out the challenges of managing a project of high public interest in a compressed timeframe, facing COVID restrictions, resource shortages, and supply issues. 

At this event, you will hear from Brendan Bisley – Tauranga City Council Director of Transport, Mark Burgess – Tauranga City Council Transport Infrastructure Outcomes Manager and Cameron Road Project Director, and Dave Burns – Cameron Road Joint Venture Director. It will be an incredible opportunity to understand the different perspectives of managing an infrastructure project that affects the lives of so many people in Tauranga.
