2024 Technology Project of the Year Presentation
The 2024 PMINZ Technology Project of the Year was awarded to Victoria University for their Interested Parties Onboarding Project. This prestigious award, sponsored by Lagom, celebrates excellence in project management and highlights outstanding achievements in the field.
The Interested Parties Onboarding Project demonstrated innovation, effective collaboration, underpinned by effective change management strategies and a commitment to involving the end user throughout the journey that leads to successful implementation. It’s a testament of hard work, dedication and a strategic approach to involving all stakeholders in the process. It serves as a clear testament to the team’s ability to navigate challenges and deliver results.
The project involved implementing a significant change to implement across 26 Schools and several business units across the Victoria University of Wellington.
The “Interested Parties Onboarding” project aimed to streamline and expedite the onboarding process for over 3,000 “Interested Parties” at Victoria University of Wellington, the university’s third-largest recruitment group for 2022 and 2023. Previously extending up to 1-2 months, the project targeted reducing this timeframe to 1-2 days for quicker access to systems and facilities.
We are pleased to welcome Sanjay Arya and alongside the Victoria University team-Colin Price, Change Manager, and Lisa Zambrano, Tech Lead to present their story of managing the many facets of implementing a major and significant change and achieving a very successful project delivery.
This event is proudly brought to you by the team from PMINZ Wellington & Starfish Consulting.
