An introduction to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in the Public Sector - an overview of what SAFe is and why so many government agencies are choosing this approach.

Erika Barden will share her experience of helping introduce SAFe at public sector organisations including ACC, Auckland Council and the Waikato DHB, and will drawn on her team’s extension of SAFe at NZDF and MSD.

Erika will talk about the benefits and challenges of implementing this way of working; the role of the PMO, Programme Managers, Project Managers and Project Co-ordinators in SAFe; and will hold a Q&A session at the end – so please bring any questions you might have about the framework, how to introduce it, and where to learn more.
