How to improve project documentation control; tracking workflows with one source of the truth

Learn how the documentation handling system Octa developed has assisted them with efficient storage, easy retrieval of their project documentation and how it helped clarified scope and roles within the project team. 


Brian Taylor, Director of Octa Hamilton has held numerous positions throughout his career in the New Zealand meat and dairy industry. He has been working closely with Tetra Pak for last five years in a variety of roles, for example Project Manager, Construction Manager, Design Manager, Commissioning Manager, Project Closeout, Hygiene Manager, Commissioning manager. Brian was also a project and commissioning manager for Silver Fern Farms Te Aroha Rebuild between 2012 and 2013.

When he isn't busy managing projects, Brian serves as a mentor at Tatua, Fonterra, and Synlait Sites.

Certified members can claim one PDU for attending this session in the Strategic and Business Management (0.25), Technical Project Management (0.50), and Leadership (0.25) aspects of the Talent Triangle.


Car parking You can enter the the city campus by Gate 3 off Tristram Street (just before the Collingwood Street roundabout if you are heading South). Park anywhere on the ring road.        The event will be held in A Block which is the second building on the left on the ring road. The main entrance to A Block is on the opposite side of the building to the drive way.
