Transformation – what does ‘good’ look like – the corporation of the 2020s

In 1991 Michael Scott Morton of MIT published a study called the Corporation of the 1990s. In this study, he laid out what would be the building blocks for the integrated organisations of the 1990s. This vision was largely delivered on, in the 1990s and early 2000s, as organisations became more integrated, both internally and externally. We are now moving into another period of fast change in business, so fast it is often labelled as a transformational era. In this time frame we are witnessing a sea-change in how companies organise and operate to meet the demands of the digital age.
