Mary will discuss the various reasons why resistance to change occurs at various stages during the project lifecycle - the underlying fears, what this resistance might look like, what to expect as project managers and project delivery professionals, and how resistance presents itself. She will share helpful tips and tricks to overcome this resistance, providing you with valuable insights to take back into your projects.
Mary Martin is Director of EMBED Change. Having previously led significant business change initiatives both within New Zealand and internationally, her main focus has been to embed a customer-centric service or business process realignment to a new operating model. Mary’s key strength is leadership through change, however her passion is growing and embedding change capability in individuals and organisation. She has worked with a number of large organisation such as Air New Zealand, PepsiCo Australia, Contact Energy, and New Zealand Police, drawing on her knowledge and experience in change, marketing and operations to help embed change into BaU.
