Why, in this age of disruption, project management is still a great career, and what new skills project professionals need to focus on to stay relevant. Nicola will share her experience that the University of Auckland’s Strategic Programme Office's eight years of experience has taught her about the drivers and factors that influence project success, and PMO longevity.
Nicola has been involved in projects for over 20 years and was a contract project manager for nearly ten years. Since 2014 she has led the University of Auckland’s Strategic Programme Office.
She will talk about her experience of enterprise level PMO that supports the university to select investments that will most effectively deliver its strategic goals, forms them into executable programmes and projects, and then manages those projects to a successful conclusion and benefits realisation.
Doors open at 5:30pm and the presentation starts at 6.00pm
