Key learnings in delivering transformational programmes in the public sector

Come and hear about ValueKey Consulting’s journey with the Waitematā DHB, one of the largest and fastest-growing health organisations in New Zealand, providing healthcare to over 600,000 people. Find out how they managed to shift the DHB from an environment where historically they did not see the value of project management, had no centralised oversight of projects, and limited governance of projects or programmes. Guy Thorpe will share some of the ValueKey's key learnings that they took along the way in delivering a large transformational programme in the public sector.

Guy Thorpe is the director of Valuekey. He has 20 years of delivery and consulting experience in project, programme, portfolio management, and setting up and running EPMOs. Having spent 12 years in the United Kingdom and working in the London financial services market, he moved back to New Zealand in 2010.
