The PMINZ constitution review committee (committee) was tasked by the board to review the current PMINZ constitution. This follows a review of the governance structure to allow better delivery of our strategic goals and to be more responsive and adaptive to environmental changes in the professional and business landscape.
The new constitution was approved by an overwhelming majority of 92% to 8%.
The major changes from the 2017 constitution include:
1. Everyone on the board will be a director. Each director will be allocated a role.
2. All sub-branches will become branches. There will be no overarching branch.
3. Term as a director increased to three-years instead of two
Thanks to all PMINZ members who either gave feedback or voted.
